The objective:
The Senior Transaction Manager is responsible for the strategic and operational implementation of growth, achievement of objectives, and execution of transactions in accordance with the management's guidelines. This also includes strategic divestments of the existing portfolio and the development of concepts for acquisitions.
Your main activities:
The Senior Transaction Manager is responsible for the strategic and operational implementation of growth, achievement of objectives, and execution of transactions in accordance with the management's guidelines. This also includes strategic divestments of the existing portfolio and the development of concepts for acquisitions.
Your main activities:
- Acquisition of direct real estate investments in the Swiss property market
- Implementation of the real estate strategy in line with the investment guidelines of the respective investment vehicles
- Review and analysis of potential purchase opportunities and execution of due diligence processes with internal and external experts: development and construction teams, developers, appraisers, and lawyers
- Preparation of investment calculations for development projects using specialized software
- Conducting acquisition valuations (DCF) for existing properties and validation of valuations carried out by external appraisers
- Identification of commitments, risks, and opportunities
- Building and maintaining long-term relationships with property owners, brokers, advisors, and investors
- Preparation of investment and divestment proposals for management and the investment committees of the relevant vehicles
- Market observation and analysis
- Degree (or equivalent) in architecture, economics, engineering, law, or certified real estate valuer
- Further education in real estate (MAS REM, CUREM, RICS, etc.) is an advantage
- Extensive experience as a real estate transaction manager in the Swiss market
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in French and English, German is an advantage
- Broad professional network in the real estate industry
