IT Manager Department Convenience w/m/d 100%

The IT Manager of the Convenience Department is responsible for the planning, operation, and further development of the IT infrastructure and systems of the corporate group. He ensures that IT optimally supports the business processes – in collaboration with our IT full-service provider BISON AG – at all locations and that future requirements are identified and implemented early.
The role reports directly to the CFO and operates across all three business units.
frigemo ag operates across several locations in Switzerland including Zurich, Cressier, Bern. Main workplace by agreement.

• Implementation of the IT strategy according to fenaco guidelines considering the needs of the department
• Ensuring a stable, secure, and high-performance IT operation
• Professional support and further development of the site IT as well as the site ITV (the position does not manage employees)
• Responsibility for networks, servers, cloud services, end devices, and IT security
• Management and coordination of IT projects (e.g., SharePoint, Teams, EIAM, system migrations), mostly in collaboration with our IT full-service provider
• Cooperation with internal departments and external service providers
• Identification of digitization potentials and technological trends
• Cost control and participation in budgeting

• Completed studies in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable qualification
• Initial experience in IT management or IT project management
• Experience with ERP systems, cloud technologies, and IT security
• Solid knowledge in IT infrastructure, networks, and databases
• Analytical thinking and strategic action
• Strong communication skills and assertiveness
• Teamwork, commitment, and initiative
• Very good German skills, French skills are an advantage
• Knowledge of the food industry or production is an advantage
