Clerk Security and Presidential Department 80 – 100 %
Variety, responsibility, and co-creation
This newly created position offers you the opportunity to actively contribute your skills and ideas and help shape the scope of tasks. In this versatile role, you will work about 20% in the Security Department and about 80% in the Presidential Department.
To strengthen our team, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for a service-oriented, reliable, and independent personality as
Security Department
- You independently process demanding applications to the Committee for Security, Health, and Social Affairs and ensure their formal and substantive quality
- You independently prepare the meetings of the SGS Committee: from the agenda to the dispatch of meeting documents
- With care and accuracy, you take responsibility for issuing and administratively handling various permits – from security and hospitality licenses to police permits for events (such as Fasnacht) to signage applications and traffic orders
- In the fire department area, you share responsibility for the correct preparation of invoices, salary, and compensation accounts
Presidential Department
- You take on versatile administrative tasks in daily business and support wherever needed – whether at the counter, on the phone, or in correspondence
- You are responsible for maintaining and monitoring the systematic collection of laws
- You actively participate in projects, accompany innovative and administrative initiatives, and take on the management of smaller projects if needed
- As a CMI super-user, you support employees and authority members. You contribute to optimizing digital processes and support archiving as well as the co-creation of Digilex
- This position offers you plenty of room for co-creation, responsibility, and personal development – an exciting task for everyone who likes to get involved and make a difference
- You have completed commercial basic training and ideally have several years of experience in a municipal administration or comparable areas of responsibility
- You are proficient in common IT programs and work confidently with digital tools
- Language is your tool: you communicate fluently both orally and in writing, formulate clearly and with a sense for the right tone
- With your reliable, organized, and structured way of working, you keep an overview even in busy moments
- You approach tasks independently, think ahead, and contribute ideas to further develop processes
