An executive secretary within the IUFRS
The University Institute for Training and Research in Care (IUFRS) of the Training and Research Department of the CHUV wishes to hire an executive secretary to strengthen its team.
Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, the CHUV plays a leading role in the fields of medical care, medical research, and training.
Since its creation in Lausanne in 2007, the University Institute for Training and Research in Care - IUFRS contributes to addressing these challenges:
- It allows nurses from French-speaking Switzerland and beyond to pursue their academic training in nursing sciences (Master and Doctorate) and to exercise clinical and scientific leadership (advanced nursing practice)
- It is committed to research to develop innovative, effective, and efficient clinical practices.
To fulfill its mission, the IUFRS maintains a dense network of institutional, scientific, and clinical partnerships at the local, regional, national, and international levels.
Mission
- You ensure the executive secretariat of the IUFRS
- You contribute to the internal communication of the institution
- You supervise and carry out the day-to-day management of the IUFRS
- You maintain and nurture internal/external relations to the institution
- You perform any other tasks requested within the scope of the function
- In principle, presence on each day of the week must be ensured.
Profile
- You hold a commercial employee CFC or an equivalent qualification
- You have additional training (for example, a federal certificate as an executive assistant) which is an asset
- You have 5 years of professional experience in a similar position, ideally in the academic and/or hospital environment
- You have excellent command of spoken and written French and English
- You are comfortable with computer tools
- You have a developed sense of responsibility, service organization, and priorities
- You have adaptability, flexibility, and proactivity
- You have interpersonal ease and team spirit.
