Apprenticeship as Laboratory Technician EFZ, Chemistry Specialization
Do you enjoy working in a chemistry lab, are interested in scientific questions, and like experimenting?
Our apprentices in the chemical laboratory technician profession are introduced to the secrets of chemical research work during their 3-year training. Due to our mission, we mainly work analytically, meaning we examine which substances are present in the water, their concentrations, and the fate of these compounds. The apprentices work in the individual research departments for 6-10 months each and can get to know various methods during this time. The tasks include sampling, sample preparation, measuring with modern analytical instruments, and evaluating the results.
Through this system, the apprentices go through various departments and thus receive a broad-based and versatile education. Each year they attend courses in the company’s own training laboratory to learn and deepen the basics. We collaborate with various training partners in the private sector, such as Bachema AG in Schlieren, Coca-Cola HBC Switzerland AG in Dietlikon, and others.
You are in secondary school level A, have good grades in science, mathematics, and language subjects, work independently and reliably, and bring willingness to learn and perform? Then we look forward to your application.
