Public Prosecutor's Office / Office of the Attorney General
The Public Prosecutor's Office is an independent investigative, sanctioning, and prosecuting authority for the canton of Thurgau in criminal and ancillary criminal law. It is divided into the departments of the Office of the Attorney General, the Public Prosecutor's Office for Economic Crimes and Organized Crime, the regional public prosecutor's offices in Bischofszell, Frauenfeld, and Kreuzlingen, as well as the Juvenile Prosecutor's Office.
The Office of the Attorney General is the highest management level of the Thurgau Public Prosecutor's Office. In addition to the office management, legal assistance, jurisdictional disputes, public relations, and knowledge management, the Office of the Attorney General houses the Department of Misdemeanors for the central processing of all misdemeanor cases (adults) as well as the staff services including HR and central accounting. The Office of the Attorney General is located in Frauenfeld.

Your tasks
- You support the office manager and the public prosecutors in case processing in legal assistance, jurisdictional, and criminal proceedings
- You perform all administrative tasks in the assigned cases
- You carry out general secretarial duties, including mail, telephone, and counter service
- You take minutes during the monthly management meetings
- You assist with the administration of our specialized application (including template management)
- You help with the development and maintenance of our knowledge platform
- You provide deputy support for the video interrogation system
- You participate as a deputy in maintaining our homepage
- You procure office supplies and literature as a deputy
- You serve in health coordination and safety
- You support the office management, public prosecutors, and staff services with other tasks
