To strengthen our laboratory team (microbiology) in Hettlingen, we are looking for a
Your tasks
- Perform microbiological analyses (e.g., microbial count determinations, identification of microorganisms, conducting growth controls on various media)
- Use of instrumental analytics (e.g., VITEK II) for characterization and quantification of microorganisms
- Preparation of various types of culture media
- Inoculation and cultivation of bacterial, fungal, and yeast cultures under sterile conditions
- Sample preparation, processing, and documentation according to GLP/GMP and internal quality guidelines
- Participation in the development, optimization, and validation of microbiological methods
- Evaluation of hygiene control samples as well as monitoring of production environments
- Creation and maintenance of laboratory protocols, SOPs, and test documentation
- Creation, maintenance, and updating of SOPs, e.g., for analytical devices and data documentation
- Execution of qualification/requalification of laboratory equipment/facilities including documentation
- Participation in validations, verifications, and transfers of analytical methods
- Support in OOX investigations and lab-related deviations
- Compliance with data integrity requirements within the area of responsibility
Your profile
- Completed training as a biological laboratory technician or BTA with at least 2 years of professional experience in the GMP area
- Very good knowledge of instrumental microbiological analytics
- Knowledge in the area of data integrity (e.g., when conducting audit trail reviews)
- Practical experience in the qualification of laboratory equipment and validation of methods is desirable
- Very good German and good English skills, both spoken and written
- Good IT skills, especially in the use of MS Office programs
