1. Job description
As a CMA, you hold a strategic position at the interface between the medical staff, administration, and patients. You actively participate in the operational implementation of the center. Your role is to ensure the smooth patient journey while guaranteeing the efficiency of the practice management and the supervision of the medical assistants team.
Your new daily tasks are as follows:
- Care pathway coordination: Ensure follow-up of complex cases and interdisciplinary liaison
- Team management and supervision: Oversee the medical assistants team
- (e.g., preparing monthly schedules and leading team meetings).
- Billing expertise: Ensure compliance with outpatient billing (e.g., rigorous control and application of the TARDOC tariff structure).
- Administrative optimization: Manage medical information flows and correspondence (e.g., supervising report transcription and document management via standard software).
- Clinical practice: Perform delegated medical acts autonomously (e.g., ECG, sampling and injections, blood draws, labs).
- Chronic Care Management (CCM): Lead the follow-up and therapeutic education of chronic patients (e.g., organizing motivational interviews for diabetic patients or ensuring remote monitoring of vital signs).
- Stock and supplies management: Organize and supervise procurement
2. Required profile
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a medical practice or outpatient care center.
- Successful prior experience in opening or restructuring a medical center (major asset)
- Good knowledge of TARDOC billing rules required
- Excellent interpersonal skills, sense of responsibility, autonomy, and ability to set priorities in a developing environment.
- Perfect command of French spelling, syntax, and medical terminology.
- English language skills would be appreciated
3. Education level
- Federal diploma of Outpatient Medicine Coordinator (CMA) desired or willingness to train
- Medical assistant CFC indispensable.
