- You bring your experience and skills to take the design and construction of our Lakehouse architecture in Google Cloud to the next level
- You develop services (e.g. in Python) for data ingestion, quality assurance, data protection, and metadata management
- You advise and support developer teams in the design, implementation, and use of the platform for their data products and analytical use cases
- You operate and optimize the platform in the spirit of DevOps, ensuring continuous improvements and innovation
- You stay up to date and evaluate new technologies and tools in the field of data engineering and data management
Your Skills and Talents
Your Skills and Talents
- You have a university degree (ETH, university, university of applied sciences) in computer science, data science, business informatics, or a comparable education.
- You have experience in developing data engineering projects, preferably in Google Cloud
- You have already gained experience in building lakehouses, data lakes, or data warehouses and know what is needed for a successful build
- You bring excellent programming skills, especially in Python
- You are familiar with the topic of data mesh or are willing to work into this topic
- You are interested in the topics of "computable" data governance and data architecture and are capable of developing innovative solutions
- Good German language skills in spoken and written form are mandatory
