The position is attached to the Sleep Medicine Center (CMS) linked to the pulmonology department of the Department of Medicine.
The CMS cares for patients with sleep disorders with the aim of improving their health by preventing diseases related to the chronicity of these disorders, performs the necessary functional explorations for their diagnosis and management, and participates in the general mission of care, teaching, and research of the HUG.
Job Description
Your main role is to put the patient in optimal conditions during their nocturnal examination and to ensure the proper technical conduct of the polysomnography.
You mainly work at night.
You participate in basic patient care, as well as in the maintenance of the room equipment.
You take care of patients in collaboration with sleep specialist technicians, doctors, and technical assistants.
You establish a supportive, trusting, and reassuring relationship with the patient.
Qualifications
You are a medical student from the 2nd year onwards.
You have good knowledge of computer tools.
You master the French language; knowledge of English is an asset.
