For an external customer project in the greater Zurich area, we are looking for an experienced, competent personality for the position of Embedded Tester at the senior level (from 5-8 years) starting from 01.11.2025 / 01.12.2025 .

Are you looking for a new challenge in the field of testing? Innovation, digitization, new mobile payment methods, and customer experience are part of our daily routine. We are looking for an Embedded Tester who feels up to these topics and is motivated to actively shape the future of the UBS Card Center. You can expect a lot of variety, a challenging activity, and the chance to contribute your knowledge and implement your ideas together with a motivated Scrum team.
Your tasks:
- Creation of test specifications, implementation, and execution of corresponding module, integration, functional, and system tests
- Planning of integration and acceptance tests
- Coordination of end-to-end tests
- Defect management
- Development and implementation of automated software and system tests
- Expansion of our test automation for the continuous integration workflow
- Documentation and reporting of test results in Jira / Xray
- Close collaboration with business and technical analysts
- Active participation in agile teams (Scrum) as well as professional support of other software testers
- Continuous optimization of test cases and processes regarding quality and efficiency
Requirements (content, methodology, technology):
- Degree in computer science and several years of experience as a software tester, test engineer, or developer, ideally in the banking and/or credit card environment.
- Knowledge of test methodology and test processes in embedded software development
- Practical experience in test automation using Selenium, JMeter, and SoapUI
- Experience in unit testing and Visual Studio, C#, git, Jenkins
- Fluent in German and English (at least B2 each)
- Teamwork and strong communication skills
- Very good self-organization and proactivity
- ISTQB certification in software testing is an advantage
- German: native speaker
- English: good knowledge
