The Catholic parish of Stäfa is beautifully located on Lake Zurich. We are an active parish with around 3000 Catholics and are looking for a

Catechist (20%)

Your tasks:

• Teaching religious education for 5th and 6th grade according to the curriculum of denominational Catholic religious education and catechesis (LeRUKa)
• Co-designing children's and family services in consultation with the priest/parish representative
• Accompanying children on their faith journey and introduction into the parish community
• Accompanying children at liturgical events such as the start of the school year, Rorate celebrations, Christmas Eve family service
• Communication with parents and organization and implementation of parent evenings

What we wish for:

• Training as a religious educator or catechist (RPI, ForModula) or equivalent training
• Joy in working with children as well as pronounced communication skills
• Creativity, independence, and high social competence to design lively, appealing lessons
• Driver's license category B
• Connection to the Catholic faith and joy in conveying it
• Confident handling of Office 365
