What you can achieve
- Operation, assurance, and further development of the Oracle database landscape (RAC, ASM, Data Guard)
- Monitoring and control of systems using monitoring, alerting, and capacity management (OEM)
- Analysis and resolution of disruptions as well as performance optimization (AWR, SQL tuning, root cause analyses)
- Co-responsibility for the operation of other database systems (MS SQL, MariaDB)
- Further development and automation of operational processes as well as active shaping of technological development
What you bring with you
- Completed computer science education or comparable practical experience with several years as an Oracle DBA
- Deep know-how in Oracle (RAC, ASM, RMAN, Data Guard, OEM) as well as solid experience with Linux and Windows
- Good knowledge of MS SQL Server as well as interest in Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Ansible, Terraform) and scripting (Python, PowerShell, Shell)
- Experience in agile setups (ideally SAFe) as well as a structured, solution-oriented working style
- Very good German and English skills as well as willingness for deployments during off-hours
