About the job
Tax Commissioner in Corporate Tax Law 80 - 100%Welcome to the fascinating world of taxes! The cantonal tax office, together with the municipal tax offices, collects taxes for the federal government, the canton, and the municipalities. We support private individuals and companies throughout the entire tax collection process. Around 800 qualified employees are committed to this at the location in Zurich Altstetten.
In the corporate sector, the legally compliant assessments are carried out with a focus on corporate tax law. For our Services department, we are looking for the right reinforcement as soon as possible.
Your future tasks:
- Examination of tax returns and annual financial statements of legal entities and self-employed persons (profit and capital taxes or income and wealth taxes as well as refund of withholding tax)
- Conducting assessments after clarifying the legally relevant facts
- Evaluation of binding official advance rulings (rulings) as well as responsibility in legal remedy procedures (especially objection procedures and first-instance procedures before the tax appeals court)
- Written, telephone, and personal communication with our customers or their representatives
Your profile:
- Completed business or law studies or an equivalent higher commercial education (certified tax expert, certified auditor, fiduciary expert or equivalent training)
- Professional appearance and confident German in spoken and written form; good English skills are a plus
- Experience in tax law in tax consulting, fiduciary services, or administration is an advantage
- Resilience, high service orientation, and the ability to think analytically, goal-oriented, and networked
