Area of Responsibility
- Caring for people in different phases of life
- Collaboration with family systems and interdisciplinary teams
- Main responsibility for the care process from admission to discharge
- Supporting patients in their goal setting with all their knowledge and skills. Assistance in rapidly changing acute situations
- Participation in the training of apprentice health professionals EFZ
Internship Areas
You can complete the studies in the fields of somatics or psychiatry. We offer the following areas of deployment:
- Medicine
- Surgery (external internship at Stadtspital Triemli Zurich)
- Palliative Care
- Acute Geriatrics
- Psychiatry, Gerontopsychiatry, Mother-Child Department
- Emergency
- Endoscopy/Oncology
The full-time study lasts 3 years, the part-time study lasts 4 years (minimum 60% workload).

Requirements
- Three-year vocational training with a federal certificate of competence (EFZ)
