Job Description

To strengthen our Calculation-Sales team in the Structural Department (civil engineering structures / bridges / footbridges / buildings), we are looking for a calculator (M/F), whose mission will be to estimate and price projects, ensuring the following main tasks:

• Evaluate projects in the acquisition phase, in close collaboration with management
• Calculate offers
• Propose innovative and customized solutions
• Assess the feasibility and design optimizations or variants
• Prepare public tender offer files
• Conduct calls for tenders to suppliers, in collaboration with the purchasing department
• Negotiate with clients

Qualifications

To meet this challenge, you are recognized for your social skills and your well-developed sense of contact, both internally and externally. In this strategic position between the commercial sector and project management, you are able to maintain an overview, taking into account all processes involved in the project (technical execution, materials, production hours, assembly, ...). You know how to synthesize information and present it clearly and concisely during offer meetings with management. Resolutely positive, you possess a logical and critical mind and know how to be convincing to defend your ideas and the company's interests.

To ensure the technical role of the position, you have the following characteristics:

• You are a specialist in metal structural construction with experience in civil engineering structures.
• You hold a civil engineering degree or equivalent training.
• You master common computer tools, especially Excel.
• You are comfortable with 2D/3D drawing software (Tekla, BoCAD, Sketchup, Revit, ...).
• You can express yourself in French and/or German. Italian is an asset.
