About the Position
Welcome to Hitachi Energy! As a foreman for the LCC&Delivery area, you take responsibility for a specific work area at the Zurich-Oerlikon site. You lead a dedicated team and ensure that our production goals regarding safety, quality, and punctuality are met.
What You Can Achieve
Responsibility for managing the control cabinet & delivery area with up to 12 employees
Planning and leading personnel, including recruiting and training new employees
Planning and monitoring daily work tasks
Ensuring requirements regarding environmental concerns, health, and occupational safety
Ensuring high delivery reliability and flawless quality of work results
Initiating and implementing optimization measures aimed at lean and efficient production
Enabling and coaching the takt leaders in developing and implementing improvements
Properly managing the entire area while complying with all testing and delivery processes
What You Bring
Completed basic electrical training (e.g., automation technician EFZ); further education at HF level is an advantage
Solid knowledge in Lean Production (e.g., 5S, types of waste, pull principle) as well as good user skills in SAP
Experience in control cabinet testing or GIS is an advantage
Strong communication skills, assertiveness, and team orientation
Very good German skills in spoken and written form as well as good English skills
