Your Tasks
You take responsibility for the successful planning, control, and implementation of defined digitization and ICT projects for the Institute for Laboratory Medicine, in close collaboration with the Laboratory ICT and the management of the Institute for Laboratory Medicine.
With your commitment and expertise, you ensure that innovative solutions are realized on time, within budget, and with high quality. Your contribution is central to optimizing processes in laboratory medicine and networking with internal as well as external systems.
Main tasks / responsibilities:
- Your tasks include the successful handling of demanding digitization projects between the Institute for Laboratory Medicine and external partners, which contribute to the successful implementation of digital transformation.
- You are responsible for ensuring service delivery regarding deliverables, deadlines, costs, and risks.
- You establish the project organization and lead interdisciplinary project teams (subject matter experts, user representatives, subproject leaders, etc.) of digitization projects in close cooperation with internal as well as external partners and suppliers.
- Furthermore, you bring the willingness to support demand tasks, which include analyzing, validating, and documenting functional and non-functional requirements based on the customer journey as well as creating requirements/solution concepts.
- In addition, you actively contribute to the further implementation and development of the company-wide project methodology.
Additional tasks:
- You lead, coordinate, or support digitization projects in the field of laboratory medicine, such as electronic order creation systems (e.g., KIS-Labor Order) and laboratory connections with external referrers.
- Participation in testing and implementation of electronic interfaces in close collaboration with Laboratory ICT.
- You ensure that schedules, budgets, and quality standards are met. In doing so, you work closely with specialist departments, IT, external partners, and suppliers.
- You take on risk and change management (also supported by the QM system and organizational chart of the Institute for Laboratory Medicine) and regularly report on project progress to the management of the Institute for Laboratory Medicine and your direct supervisor.
Your Profile
Competencies:
- You have pronounced project management skills and experience in leading ICT and digitization projects.
- You are well acquainted with the healthcare sector, ideally in laboratory medicine.
- You are skilled in communication and negotiation and work in a structured, solution-oriented, and independent manner.
- You bring experience with software solutions in laboratory medicine and interface management.
- You are familiar with methods of change and risk management.
- Additionally, you are confident in using common project management tools.
Requirements profile:
- For this position, you bring qualified further training in project management and a completed university or university of applied sciences degree (medical informatics, business informatics, or similar).
- Preferably, you have experience in leading projects in healthcare and especially in a hospital laboratory.
- You are a mature, resilient, and solution-oriented personality capable of conducting stakeholder management at all levels and within various professional groups at a high level.
- You have pronounced communication and teamwork skills and understand how to actively conduct change management and initiate the corresponding measures in the project.
