100% Occupational Safety Manager

Job description

Health and Safety at Work (HSW)

• Lead and coordinate the development and implementation of the safety program within Distico production sites (Biel and Sion) 80% and for Swatch Retail 20%
• Ensure monitoring and communication on health and safety performance, as well as promote the safety culture through employee training
• Support the management team to achieve health and safety objectives
• Monitor health/safety data and their updates through the establishment of statistics
• Develop, implement and monitor the safety and health risk analysis program
• Participate in risk analyses, inspections, controls and audits of workstations (for Distico and Swatch Retail)
• Knowledge of laws and compliance
• Experience in retail and production
• Ability to deploy training in stores (first aid, Samaritan etc.)
• Coordinate and train first aid teams (Samaritans)
• Coordinate the emergency plan for accidents & illnesses; in this capacity, lead the company Samaritan team
• Coordinate safety equipment and technical installations inspections and ensure they comply with current laws
• Ensure workstations comply with ergonomic requirements
• Key and locker management
• Assist in organizing events on site

• Training staff according to compliance
• Ensure compliance with current rules
• Update information and transmit to management

Profile

Holder of training in occupational safety (STPS), you have gained several years of experience in a similar role, ideally in a production environment.

Professional requirements

This position is aimed at a dynamic and communicative person with excellent interpersonal skills, used to working independently and at a sustained pace. Flexible and proactive, you are a source of proposals and appreciate collaboration with all types of people.

Languages

Ideally, you are a native French speaker, with good knowledge of German. English is a plus.
