Main tasks
- Technical management in the field of cyber risks
- Assessment of cyber security and taking over technical leadership during on-site inspections of all FINMA supervised entities
- Technical leadership in conducting cyber exercises at supervised entities
- Evaluation of supervisory audit reports as well as internal audits
- Support of an internal FINMA supervisory concept on cyber security
- Technical responsibility and monitoring of reported cyber attacks and assessment of the measures taken
- Active participation in shaping national and international regulation in the field of cyber risks
Profile
- Completed technical education (university, university of applied sciences) and additional specialized training such as CISSP, CISM, CISA
- Extensive practical experience (at least 5 years) in dealing with IT and cyber risks, ideally in the financial, consulting, or audit environment (e.g., as Information Security Officer, Security Manager, SOC Manager)
- Strong interest in all areas of cyber security as well as high motivation to continuously further educate oneself in this field
- Distinct analytical and conceptual skills as well as economic thinking and interest in very varied and challenging tasks with a lot of personal responsibility
- Strong communication skills as a convincing interlocutor in dialogue with supervised entities or other stakeholders, even in controversial discussions
- Very good German (C2) and English skills (C1), French skills are an advantage
