EPER employs about 600 people permanently. The organization's work is driven by the vision of a just world, where peace prevails, the dignity of all human beings is respected, and natural livelihoods are preserved. EPER is active in 25 locations in Switzerland and in 30 countries worldwide. It runs more than 380 programs and projects there, with a total amount of CHF 138 million. The organization works within the framework of the 2030 Agenda according to four priority themes: "climate justice," "right to land and food," "asylum and migration," "inclusion." EPER also provides humanitarian aid to victims of natural disasters and armed conflicts. It aims for a transition at social, economic, and political levels. EPER contributes to improving the living conditions of people in Switzerland and abroad and advocates for their rights. To this end, it raises awareness and mobilizes society, political and economic spheres, as well as churches. In 2023, EPER's work benefited about 16 million people.

Since 1969, Swiss Protestant Aid (EPER) and Action de Carême (AdC) have jointly organized an annual ecumenical mobilization campaign.
From 2025 to 2027, the campaign focuses on the right to food. In 2026, the emphasis will be on the right of farmers to exchange, improve, and sell their seeds. This seed diversity is essential for food security, resilience to climate change, and the food sovereignty of farming communities.
Within this framework, we are looking from November 1, 2025, for a duration of six months for a
Your main responsibilities:
- Preparation and support of tours of campaign hosts from partner countries (Cameroon and Niger), in French-speaking and German-speaking Switzerland
- The tours will take place in February and March 2026 (about 3 weeks per host)
- Logistical and administrative organization: accommodation, transport, visas, planning of interventions, schedule monitoring
- Support for organizing and holding public and private events (schools, parishes, partner groups, etc.)
- Participation in public awareness and dissemination of campaign materials
- Oral translations (from French to German) during public presentations: good fluency in interpretation is expected
- Work in French and German, both spoken and written
Your assets and skills:
- Higher education (professional maturity, student⋅from the 3rd semester)
- Excellent command of French and German (written and spoken)
- Ease in simultaneous oral translation (FR → DE)
- Good mastery of IT tools and social networks
- Strong interest in development issues, human rights, North-South inequalities
- Organizational skills, autonomy, team spirit, and ability to work proactively
- Flexibility for travel in French-speaking and German-speaking Switzerland during tours (February-March 2026)
- Desired experience in event organization, advocacy, or campaign communication
