In the interest of employees and companies, the Office for Labor (AFA) contributes to strengthening the location Zurich. The labor market policy competencies are bundled in the AFA. Around 650 employees work at more than 20 locations. The Unemployment Fund (ALK) is a service organization of the Office for Labor (AFA). The ALK's mandate is to clarify entitlement as well as to calculate and pay benefits of the unemployment insurance (ALV).
To strengthen the existing insolvency compensation team at the Winterthur location, we are looking for a committed professional to start immediately or by arrangement, who, after a rewarding and intensive training phase, is ready to develop into Specialist 2 and take over their own case portfolio.
Your tasks:
- Benefit verification and calculation of insolvency compensation
- Issuing first-instance decisions and preparing rulings
- Correct and prompt payment of insolvency compensation
- Ensuring legally compliant AVIG implementation
- Conducting information events at bankruptcy openings
- Providing telephone and written information to all stakeholder groups
- Service-oriented and competent advice to all stakeholder groups
- Taking over own case portfolio after the training phase
Your profile:
- Completed 3-year commercial basic training or an equivalent commercial education
- Initial experience in qualified case processing in an unemployment fund, private or social insurance, or debt collection (SchKG) is an advantage
- Completed further training in social insurance is an advantage
- Process-oriented, efficient, decisive, and a pronounced flair for numbers
- Strong team skills
- Curious about legal issues and open to new things
- Very good oral and written German skills
