Radar Operator

- The Traffic Police ensures road safety through prevention, controls, and accident analysis. Its mobile traffic management group carries out speed controls on the canton's road network and participates in investigations and hearings of offenders.
Your main tasks consist of performing speed and moving traffic controls using various systems. In this role, you actively contribute to accident prevention and the improvement of road safety. You are also called upon to conduct the State Council's drives. Additionally, if you hold a police certificate, you conduct investigations related to traffic.
You hold the federal police officer certificate or the public security assistant diploma and possess a category B driving license. While demonstrating great autonomy and versatility in working irregular hours, you have a keen sense of organization as well as strong analytical and listening skills. Equipped with excellent communication skills and a true team spirit, you are solution-oriented and open to change. Your criminal record and debt enforcement office extract are clean.
The class will be determined according to the position held: class 6 for the gendarme position or class 5 for the public security assistant position.
