Quality Manager 80 – 100 % (m/f/d)

The Business Unit Process Analytics develops, produces, and sells state-of-the-art process measurement technology for customers in biopharma, chemistry, and breweries. Our product portfolio includes sensors for critical process parameters such as pH value, oxygen, or sensors for measuring cell density, which are enormously important in biological processes and unique worldwide with their innovative technology.
What you can achieve:
Main tasks
- Process-oriented implementation of quality requirements based on applicable standards, regulations, and laws as well as customer requirements
- Preparation of risk assessments
- Preparation, execution, and follow-up of audits (internal audits, regulatory audits, customer audits)
- Handling general quality assurance tasks, e.g., processing quality assurance agreements with customers, evaluation of test plans, etc.
- Creation and maintenance of quality documentation (internal guidelines, work instructions, etc.) in cooperation with the respective process owners
- Evaluation and documentation of deviations as well as initiation, tracking, and where appropriate, taking over the management of resulting measures
- Participation in internal cross-functional committees
- Conducting training in the field of quality for all technical departments (e.g., development, production, technical support, etc.)
Secondary tasks
- Systematic support and partial technical leadership of expert teams in root cause analyses, solution finding, and effectiveness checks
- Assistance to various departments on quality-related topics, e.g., compliance with ISO standards, country-specific approvals, etc.
What you bring with you:
- Good understanding of customer and regulatory needs and their translation into processes and workflows
- Initial professional experience in quality assurance, quality management, or a similar environment; GxP experience is a plus
- Scientific-technical or electrical engineering education/studies or equivalent
- Due to the international team, very good English skills in spoken and written form (at least level B2) are required in addition to German
- Structured and methodical working style and flexible, tolerant, and objective interaction with external and internal contacts
- Confident handling of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Initiative and communicative personality with a hands-on mentality and customer-oriented solution approaches
