About the job
Securing museum operations: The employees in the security service guarantee the safe and proper operation of the museum through their surveillance activities 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Consequently, there are also weekend, holiday, and night shifts.
Supervision: Your tasks include the permanent monitoring of all building and security control systems as well as taking over technical supervision on holidays and weekends. In case of incidents, you decide on the further course of action.
Control: You are responsible for the reliable recording of rule deviations as well as all entries and exits in the building. In addition, you conduct regular patrols in and around the building. If necessary, you take on special security assignments, creating a versatile and responsible range of tasks.
Experience: For this position, we expect at least 4 years of professional experience in security services as well as willingness to work regular shifts. You also have good computer user skills.
Personality: You have good manners, can handle stressful situations with composure and calm, and act in a de-escalating manner. Responsibility, teamwork, absolute reliability, and an impeccable reputation complete your profile.
Education: A successfully completed vocational training with a manual/technical focus is mandatory for the application. Training with a federal certificate in the field of security and guarding (FSB, professional examination) is an advantage.
Language: You can communicate well in German both orally and in writing. Additional language skills are an advantage.
