Role Outline:
We are looking for a Senior Salesforce Solution Architect, French speaker, in Geneva with proven experience in leading the delivery of complex multi-cloud Salesforce solutions while working closely with the client team on site in Geneva.
As a Senior Solution Architect, you are responsible for building the bridge translating business requirements into products and technical functions. You will take ownership of a client solution across teams and technologies along the full project lifecycle. During the delivery, you will link customer staff and internal groups to ensure customer needs are mapped to our organization's skills and capabilities.
Internally you will help provide assets and knowledge transfer to ensure the growth and scalability of our offerings and the solution architecture practice.
You must have a balanced mix of technical and business skills and should act as a trusted advisor for our clients, and you take care of helping them to co-build impact and value within their digital transformation.
Here are some of the exciting tasks awaiting you:
- Developing digital transformation strategies, concepts and specifications for the implementation, enhancement and improvement of innovative platform solutions;
- Facilitating and guiding projects, to ensure business and technology are aligned;
- Directing and supervising scalable client engagements on overall technological architecture;
- Ensuring re-use and scale of our knowledge and methods;
- Sharing, training and mapping client's needs to Merkle capabilities;
- Acting as advisor or mentor for more junior colleagues on their project work and career development;
- Gathering of business requirements and translating them into workable digital solution specifications in the form of user stories and acceptance criteria;
- Defining and enhancing industry and client specific architectures;
- Advising the client on architectural solution aspects within their Vertical;
- Closely collaborating with the development teams, UX / Design teams and content teams (onsite and/or offshore);
- Preparing and facilitating client workshops for idea creation and solution finding;
- Staying up to date, or ahead, of digital trends in the market and understands how they impact the client's business.
A mix of the following is the person we are looking for:
- Degree in Computer Science and Information Technology or similar;
- Proven track record in leading global CRM multi-cloud implementations in complex environments;
- Solid knowledge of Salesforce Service Cloud and Data Cloud;
- Strong client facing profile;
- Salesforce architect certifications highly recommended (Application, system, integrations, data, sharing and visibility architect);
- TOGAF or equivalent enterprise architecture knowledge is a plus;
- Fluency in French & English;
- Availability for the onsite presence in Geneva.
