To complete its team, the nursing management is looking for the emergency and intensive care services of the HFR Fribourg – Cantonal Hospital
Nurses on 1-year fixed-term contract
(80-100%)
Your mission:
- Ensure long-term replacements within the emergency and intensive care departments, demanding, dynamic, and innovative environments.
- Provide quality care in partnership with patients and their families, respecting the care philosophy of the HFR.
- Actively participate in the continuity of care in collaboration with medical and paramedical teams.
- Develop your clinical skills within a structured and supported learning framework.
- Contribute to the quality and safety of services by respecting institutional protocols and standards.
Your profile:
- Diploma as a general care nurse HES or equivalent training recognized by the Swiss Red Cross.
- At least 2 years of experience in medicine and/or surgery and/or emergency service, or final nursing training internship (8 weeks) completed in an emergency, intensive care, or recovery room service.
- Proven skills in adaptability, technicality, communication, stress and unexpected event management, flexibility, team spirit, rigor, and proactivity.
- Motivation to work in high-intensity services and to develop your clinical knowledge.
- Fluency in French (knowledge of German is an asset).
- Comfort with computer tools (LEP, Medfolio, etc.).
- Salary conditions according to LPERS.
Supervision and integration:
Upon arrival, you will benefit from a 15-day introduction program, including:
- A pairing with an experienced nurse,
- Individualized clinical follow-ups
- Validated support objectives at the end of the period.
