To strengthen our team in Visp, Switzerland, we are looking for an Operator.
Main tasks
- As a shift worker in the production facilities in Visp, you will work alternately in the control room as well as in the plants of a production department with several plants
- In the control room, you monitor production, check and analyze process parameters, detect and resolve malfunctions, and safely start up and shut down production plants according to specifications
- In the plant, you work flexibly in the assigned plants on site and assist with changeover and maintenance work
- You are responsible for the independent execution and documentation of workflows and rounds in the production plant according to the specification documents
- Working with the computer (Outlook, Excel, Word, SAP as well as process control systems) completes your range of activities
Qualifications & Experience
- High commitment to strengthening the safety culture
- Experience as an operator in chemical production or service companies and handling process control systems is advantageous / career changers are welcome
- You are flexible and willing to work in a shift system, including early, late, and night shifts as well as weekend duties. The shift model includes a 4-shift system, taking into account planned rotation and team agreements
- Very good German skills in spoken and written form are required, as work instructions, safety regulations, and internal communication are conducted in German. The ability to read and understand these safely is necessary.
- You are interested and willing to learn new technologies and continuously further your education
- Furthermore, you work independently and reliably, are committed, resilient, and team-oriented
- You strive to ensure a high safety and quality standard according to requirements
