Pharmacy Assistants for the Logistics Unit
The Pharmacy Service is looking for several pharmacy assistants for its pharmaceutical logistics unit, between 80% and 100%, starting January 1, 2026.
Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the five Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, the CHUV plays a leading role in medical care, medical research, and education.
The CHUV Pharmacy Service is responsible for the manufacturing and supply of pharmaceutical products to the hospital, the responsibility for the rational use of medicines, as well as teaching and research in the field of hospital pharmacy.
Mission
- You prepare orders for care units
- You manage medications in the pharmacies of the care units
- You ensure the transmission of information related to pharmaceutical logistics
- You participate, with the team, in managing the hospital's medication stock
- You contribute to writing instructions and monitoring documentation
- You participate in quality management.
Profile
- You hold a Federal Certificate of Competence (CFC) as a pharmacy assistant, a diploma as a pharmacy preparer, or an equivalent qualification
- You are able to work independently
- You have experience in the field of medications in hospital, outpatient, or industrial settings
- You have a strong interest in pharmaceutical logistics
- You possess specific knowledge about handling cytotoxic drugs, the cold chain, and narcotics
- You have excellent teamwork skills and appreciate a varied work environment
- You are proficient with computerized tools
- You demonstrate rigor and precision in performing technical tasks
- You have sustained concentration ability and good stress resistance.
