We maintain long-standing relationships with leading manufacturers from various industries, including the automotive industry, energy and environmental technology, plastics technology, mechatronics, medical technology, and mechanical and plant engineering. The scope of our employees' tasks includes the examination of products, processes, and systems as well as their development and design or optimization or engineering of large plants and special machines.

Senior Development Engineer (m/f/d)

Your tasks

• Development and design of products or plant components from the concept phase to series maturity
• Documentation of requirements, development, and test results
• Development of solution concepts considering functional, manufacturing, and economic requirements
• Conducting feasibility studies, calculations, and simulations
• Development and optimization of assemblies and their subsystems
• Creation of manufacturing documents and technical specifications
• Collaboration with production, purchasing, quality assurance, and external partners
• Support in prototype construction, tests, and commissioning

Your profile

• You work independently, have a confident appearance, and a healthy assertiveness
• Engineering degree in mechanical engineering, systems engineering, plastics technology, or a comparable field
• Several years of professional experience (approx. 5–10 years) in product development or plant engineering
• Knowledge in design methodology, manufacturing technology, and materials science
• Solid knowledge in the use of 3D CAD systems (e.g., CATIA, Siemens NX, Creo, SolidWorks, Inventor, ...)
• preferably familiar with calculation and simulation programs
• Good communication skills (German C2, English)
• You are proactive, goal-oriented, and convince with a thoughtful and well-structured way of working
