Company Description
The Office for Civil Engineering and Geoinformation of the Liechtenstein National Administration (www.atg.llv.li) is responsible for the creation and maintenance of the entire transport infrastructure of the country of Liechtenstein as well as for all tasks related to state geoinformation. The Surveying and Geoinformation Department of the ATG coordinates the construction and updating work in official surveying and the cadastre of public-law property restrictions. It is also responsible for the operation and further development of the geodata portal and the ÖREB cadastre portal and supports other offices with innovative GIS solutions.
Job Description
You feel at home in the following areas of activity:
- Supporting the Surveying and Geoinformation Department in operating the geodata portal and the strategic further development in the topics of official surveying, ÖREB cadastre, and GIS
- Ensuring reliable operation of central GIS data interfaces and collaborating on data output and the Open Government Portal
- Participating in the collection, preparation, and quality assurance of data from national and official surveying
- Collaborating in various organizations of the Swiss cantons to further develop the cadastre and GIS
- Independent management and implementation of smaller GIS projects and supporting various offices in building GIS and geodata projects
Qualifications
You are particularly characterized by the following for this position:
- University degree in geomatics, geoinformatics, or geography or equivalent education
- Several years of professional experience in official surveying, geoinformation, or a related field is an advantage
- Good knowledge of geoinformatics and IT as well as experience with various ETL and GIS tools (FME, Python, ArcGIS, QGIS, GDAL, PHP or similar). Knowledge of INTERLIS is an advantage
- Willingness to collaborate in related specialist areas
- Confident demeanor towards internal and external partners
