ResponsibilitiesGlobal Transaction & Payment Services (GTPS) / Payment and Cash Management (PCM) includes all the processes companies use to improve their treasury management. GTPS is a dedicated business line for Corporate clients. It allows companies to have better control of their financial and cash flows and to improve their gathering of information. In a group of companies, cash management can be used to manage risks such as liquidity risk. It is also used to control interest and exchange rates which may affect the company.
The Swiss PCM delivers and supports transactional banking products and services that are provided to our Swiss corporate customers including:

Bank account management (opening, closing, amendment)
-
Execution and settlement of domestic and international payment orders and collection services
-
Secure electronic channels for the exchange of balance, transaction information and payment orders
-
Maintain financing arrangements where we provide intraday and overnight facilities
Monitor domestic and international inter-company cash pooling and netting
Mission:
You will be able to bring your expertise and learn basic notions about Corporate Global Transactions Banking / Compliance / Regulatory environment in which Banks evolve nowadays. You will also gain daily commercial exposure and have interactions with different internal stakeholders.
Tasks and responsibilities:
He/She is performing an internship as “Intern GTPS Cash Management” in our Global Transaction & Payment Services Switzerland department, supporting the local team.

His/her activities cover the following main and primary duties and responsibilities:

Support the KYC onboarding and review collection process: KYC (Know Your Customer) represents a wide range of controls and due diligences that enables Société Générale to conduct business with its corporate clients;

Support our Corporate clients in the onboarding process with the Bank (new client relationship) in connection with our GTPS Sales officers

Get familiar with our customer services processes (for instance based on the information contained in the Business Questionnaire) and support them in the control of transactions (KYT Know Your Transaction) processed for our clients as required per our Compliance policies

Monitoring of the alerts linked to KYC anomalies

Supervision of Harmonised Business Conditions/General Terms of Business exceptions list

Mastering and implementing the CDB20 policy

FATCA and CRS remediation for Corporate clients
You will be fully part of our GTPS PCM team and your efforts would be expected in the following additional fields:

Support our clients in their day-to-day interactions with the bank related to their cash management and payments

Support the team with any administrative / follow up / investigations tasks

Get familiar with our processes. Once mastered, you will be requested to support their enhancement, if possible
-
Work on special projects linked to the automation / transformation of our processes
Studies & experience:
-
University degree with a specialty in Business / Finance / Economics / Law
-
Compliance knowledge is a plus
Language skills:

English B2

French A2 a plus
Technical, operational & Soft skills:

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of application, especially Word and Excel regulatory skills
