Unit Secretary for Senior Physicians for the Internal Medicine Department
To complete our team, we are looking for a unit secretary between 80% - 100%.
Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, the CHUV plays a leading role in medical care, medical research, and education.
The Internal Medicine department is a hospitalization service spread over several sites, in the main CHUV building, the Nestlé Hospital, and Beaumont. The primary mission of our department is to care for patients suffering from multiple pathologies (co-morbidities), whose diagnosis and therapeutic strategy are often complex.
Mission
- You ensure routine administrative management tasks for senior physicians
- You organize and manage the follow-up of appointments for several private consultations
- You assist senior physicians with administrative tasks
- You support senior physicians in scientific, research, and teaching activities.
Profile
- You hold a commercial employee CFC ideally complemented by a medical secretary diploma, and you have several years of experience in a similar position
- You have perfect command of French and excellent writing skills
- You have very good oral and written command of English
- You master common computer tools perfectly (Microsoft Office)
- You have a developed sense of responsibility, organization, and communication
- You know how to manage priorities
- You are comfortable in human relations
- You are autonomous, rigorous, precise, and reliable, you show diplomacy and know how to adapt in all circumstances
- You have experience in a hospital environment, which is an asset.
