Department of Infrastructure, Energy and Mobility | 40-60% | Chur
The Department of Infrastructure, Energy and Mobility (DIEM) includes the sectors of energy, hydropower, natural hazards, public transport, construction, civil engineering, procurement, forests as well as hunting, large predators, and fishing. It consists of five offices as well as the department secretariat, which as the central coordinating body supports the director in the technical and political management of the department.
We offer you interesting, varied, and challenging tasks at the interface between administration and politics. You will find an open and collaborative working environment in the modern "synergy" administrative center, in the immediate vicinity of Chur West station, with flexible working hours as well as interesting opportunities for telework and professional development. Following maternity leave, starting November 1, 2025, or by agreement, we are looking for a jurist. The position is currently fixed-term until May 31, 2026, with the prospect of an extension or conversion to a permanent position.
Tasks
- Legal assistance from a general and legal perspective in matters assigned to the department in the areas of procurement and construction
- Contact person at the cantonal competence center for procurement (support and advice to all public awarding services in the canton of Graubünden; preparation of procurement-related bases, participation in training and professional development)
- Preparation of requests, decisions, reports, and opinions as well as drafts related to parliamentary interventions in the areas assigned to you
- Preparation of appeals and drafting of briefs for courts
- Providing information and processing requests under the cantonal transparency law
- Occasional support in interdepartmental projects
What we expect from you
- Completed university studies in law
- Professional experience gained within public administration, judiciary, or a law firm
- Insight, self-confidence, ability to handle stressful situations, ability to work in a team as well as initiative and a solution-oriented and precise working method
- Absolute mastery of the German language is assumed. Knowledge of Italian and/or Romansh is desirable.
