As Head of Occupational & Health Safety (AsGs), you are responsible for protecting our employees, further developing our safety culture, and ensuring compliance with all relevant legal requirements. You work proactively, data-driven, and ensure that safety, health, and the environment are consistently considered in all areas.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a
Head of Occupational & Health Safety - Ovomaltine (m/f/d) 80-100%
- Strategy & Governance: You develop a holistic AsGs strategy, define associated standards, and ensure that company-wide policies are understandable, lived, and continuously developed.
- Occupational Safety: You conduct risk assessments, develop safety concepts, and ensure that workplaces, processes, and equipment are designed safely. You place special emphasis on prevention and sustainable accident avoidance.
- Health Management: You are responsible for measures for occupational health management, implement ergonomic standards, and develop programs that strengthen the physical and mental health of our employees.
- Compliance & Audit Management: You ensure that all legal requirements are met, conduct internal AsGs audits, and are a reliable contact person for authorities and external audit bodies.
- Risk Management & Reporting: You systematically identify risks, assess them, and derive appropriate measures. In addition, you create meaningful reports, derive KPIs, and use them for continuous improvement.
- HSE Culture: You design internal awareness campaigns, conduct training, and support managers in actively exemplifying safety-related topics in everyday life.
- Project Support & Consulting: You accompany investment and construction projects, bring your expertise to new machine acquisitions or process changes, and ensure that safety requirements are considered early on.
- Leadership & Collaboration: You lead your AsGS team professionally and personally, work closely with other departments, and ensure that AsGs topics are implemented in a structured, pragmatic, and goal-oriented manner.
- AsGs Expertise: You have solid knowledge in occupational safety, health protection, and environmental standards and can translate these practically into operational and strategic measures.
- Education & Qualification: You have training or a degree in the AsGs field, supplemented by further training such as safety specialist or comparable certifications.
- Project & Process Competence: You work in a structured manner, bring experience in lean, risk, or audit processes, and can drive projects methodically and solution-oriented.
- Communication Strength: You can clearly convey complex content, conduct training, and manage to engage different stakeholders purposefully.
- Analytical Skills: You use data and KPIs to make informed decisions, set priorities, and derive improvement measures.
- Leadership & Change: You lead your team with motivation, actively accompany change processes, and contribute to anchoring a sustainable safety and health culture in the company.
- Proactive Working Style: You act responsibly, recognize risks early, and find pragmatic solutions that combine safety, cost-effectiveness, and feasibility.
- Language Skills: Excellent German to clearly, understandably, and appropriately communicate safety requirements. English would also be an advantage.
