The Child and Adult Protection Authority KESB is there for people in need. Those who need help and support can count on KESB. No day is like the other with us. In the interdisciplinary team, we actively shape a safe future for vulnerable adults, families, children, and adolescents.
We are looking for an Employee Auditor for the KESB Graubünden, North Bündner branch, starting January 1, 2026, or by arrangement.
- Independent auditing of inventories, accountability reports, and invoices from professional and private guardians
- Assessment of asset investments according to VBVV as well as submitted budgets
- Verification of insurance claims for affected persons (especially with health insurance and social insurance institutions)
- Writing of written audit and review reports as well as draft decisions for the authority
- Expert advice to professional and private guardians as well as internal specialist departments on financial matters and issues related to inventory and accounting
- Participation in the inventory of the assets of the persons under care
- Commercial basic training with further education in social insurance, fiduciary and/or financial and accounting fields (higher professional examination, university of applied sciences, or equivalent education)
- Professional experience in banking, insurance, or fiduciary sector, preferably in child and adult protection
- Interest in and understanding of issues and contexts in child and adult protection and very good knowledge of social insurance, securities and asset management, taxation
- Basic knowledge of civil law (ZGB and OR)
- Willingness to acquire the necessary know-how or to further educate yourself in the relevant areas
- Independent, responsible, precise, and pragmatic working style
- Resilience, flexibility, discretion, and a pronounced team player
- Very good German skills in spoken and written form, other cantonal languages are an advantage
- Very good IT user skills
- High social competence and empathy towards people in difficult life situations
