Chemistry Teacher

The Graubünden Cantonal School is an important educational institution with approx. 1,000 students of all three cantonal languages. As a section of the Office for Upper Secondary Education, it offers upper secondary school education cycles at the high school with long and short programs as well as at the specialized school, commercial middle school, and computer middle school. As a chemistry teacher, you teach students at the high school and specialized school.
For our school, we are looking for a chemistry teacher starting August 1, 2026.
Responsibilities
- Teaching chemistry at the high school and specialized middle school
- Organizing and conducting project weeks, class events, and excursions in a team with other teachers
- Taking on various tasks within the team of teachers of the same subject
- Collaborating on development projects for the entire school
What we expect from you
- University degree in chemistry as well as a teaching diploma for maturity schools (diploma for higher education teaching)
- Experience teaching at the upper secondary level is an advantage
- You are a flexible person, proactive, able to work in a team, and enjoy working with young people. We are also looking for a communicative person who takes responsibility and is happy to engage in school life
- Knowledge of other cantonal languages completes your profile as a teacher at the trilingual school
