Your role

AI Analytics (AIA) is the center of expertise of GenAI and Machine Learning within the Investment Risk & Data Analytics department. AIA oversees the exploration and usage of new alternative data sources to deliver investment signals and operational alpha to investment managers. 
As a Graduate, we offer you a permanent position starting with a unique 18-month programme during which you will rotate through different investment and business teams within Pictet AM. During the programme, you will develop technical know-how working alongside accomplished investment professionals to gain first-hand exposure to portfolio management.
At the end of the programme, you will take full ownership of a Data Scientist position within the AI Analytics team. You will work closely with Investment Managers, CPMs, DevOps, and Data Engineers to drive the adoption of Generative AI technologies, enhance and maintain existing solutions, and design and code new AI/ML models. Your responsibilities will include performing exploratory analysis on new data sources, conducting research, and building statistical and machine learning models to strengthen investment processes across all asset classes.

Your profile

• Master’s degree in sciences (e.g. Computer Science, Statistics) or Finance with a keen interest in AI, Data Science, Finance and Coding.
• Experience in Python and the standard Data Science packages (pandas, SciPy, etc.) as well as some experience with relational database programming (SQL).
• Experience with Generative AI is a plus.
• Strong interest in Financial Markets and Investment Management is a plus.
• Qualities such as a desire to learn, demonstrating energy and good presentation skills with an ability to work as part of a team and interact well with others. Excellent analytical skills with a high regard for detail and quality will also be essential in this role.
• Fluency in English, good French language communication skills would be a plus.
• Willingness to complete the CFA.
• Must be resident in Switzerland or willing to relocate.
