Make your mark for patients
We are looking for a Manufacturing Planning Technician, analytical, organized and proactive, to join our Product Stream Immunology team, based at our UCB Farchim offices in Bulle, Switzerland.
About the role
You will be responsible for planning and coordinating the operational production activities of the BP1 building, in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices standards and the site Hygiene, Safety and Environment policy. You will contribute to the continuous improvement of planning, including the preparation of Stock Solutions and Buffers, as well as supporting planning activities during maintenance shutdowns.
Who you will work with
You will work within a team of planners for the BP1 building, in close collaboration with production teams, technical departments and support functions. You will ensure effective cross-communication to align production priorities and achieve operational objectives.
What you will do
- Prepare and manage detailed production planning for USP (Upstream), DSP (Downstream) and Buffers
- Coordinate technical activities impacting the schedule with the relevant departments
- Optimize the preparation of Stock Solutions and Buffers to minimize waste
- Ensure effective communication between production areas and support
- Support production objectives according to shutdowns, materials and operational constraints
- Identify, escalate and communicate risks, events and safety issues

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent training
- Federal certificate of capacity or equivalent technical training
- More than two years of experience in production or biotechnology industry
- Proven experience with production planning tools
- Good knowledge of compliance requirements and Good Manufacturing Practices
- Experience in writing documentation compliant with Good Manufacturing Practices
- Knowledge of Real-Time Modeling System and SAP is a plus
