• political and social events in and around Solothurn are your world 
• you report for print and online about current events from the region, establish connections and reveal the backgrounds 
• you are responsible for reporting from the cantonal council and about cantonal politics 
• you detect topics that move people in the region and can explain them to the readership 
• you write reports, features and portraits 
• you regularly take shifts for daily planning

• journalistic writing is your passion and you have successfully proven this for several years 
• you have a very good general education and also feel at home in the online world   
• ideally, you can already count on a broad network in the region 
• you are a team player, eager to work, helpful, motivated and humorous. We are looking for an editor with good intuition who researches persistently 
• you are not deterred by regular Sunday and evening shifts
