Job Description
As a Multi-skilled Employee in Laundry and Inter-site Road Transport, you ensure the continuity of the logistics chain for laundry and goods between the different sites of the Arc Network.
Your main responsibilities include:
Laundry-related activities
- Reception, sorting, washing, drying, folding, and distribution of laundry according to internal procedures and current hygiene standards.
- Quality control of clean laundry and identification of items requiring repair or replacement.
- Proper handling of detergents and basic maintenance of machines (reporting anomalies, daily cleaning).
Inter-site transport activities
- Delivery of clean laundry and collection of dirty laundry between sites according to the defined schedule.
- Transport of other goods if necessary (small equipment, consumables, documents), ensuring their integrity and security.
- Driving light and/or utility vehicles in compliance with traffic laws, safety rules, and internal procedures.
- Daily vehicle check (general condition, levels, signaling) and reporting technical problems.
Cross-functional aspects
- Strict application of hygiene, safety, and infection prevention rules.
- Traceability of operations according to internal requirements (deposits, schedules, quantities transported).
- Close collaboration with logistics, hospitality, and care teams.
- Contribution to the continuous improvement of the service (cleanliness, punctuality, communication).
Qualifications
Professional skills
- Experience in industrial laundry, hospitality, logistics, or a similar field (hospital environment experience: an asset).
- Valid driving license for the required category (up to 3500kg).
- Basic knowledge of hygiene standards and infection prevention measures.
- Ability to use laundry machines and perform first-level maintenance.
- Comfort in handling loads and adherence to good ergonomic practices.
