Job description
We are looking for a Construction Manager (M/F/X) who will play a key role in managing and supervising the execution of construction works, from the study phase to the completion of handovers. This position involves close collaboration with technical teams, EHS, and various subcontractors to ensure compliance, safety, and project success across all concerned sites.
🔥Your missions
- Assess the work needs and associated costs from the study phase.
- Manage and adjust the work execution schedule to meet deadlines.
- Define, in collaboration with the EHS team, the safety measures to be implemented according to project requirements.
- Ensure subcontractors comply with all regulatory and internal requirements (site regulations, HSE regulations, SOPs, requirement sheets, etc.).
- Communicate proactively with the project team (Technical Manager, Project Manager, Subject Matter Experts).
- Coordinate the various trades and define priorities.
- Prepare the setup of the living base with subject matter experts and subcontractors (spaces, flows, electrical supply, access).
- Ensure the reception and follow-up of legal and mandatory documents.
- Implement project monitoring tools and ensure compliance with living base requirements.
- Manage daily work execution according to the detailed schedule, identify deviations and assess their impacts.
- Monitor the site through progress reports and approve subcontractors' site logs.
- Participate in weekly technical coordination meetings and "Site Interaction" meetings.
- Ensure good coactivity between subcontractors and support the Health and Safety Coordinator.
- Actively participate in risk analyses and weekly audits of working conditions.
- Ensure respect of site boundaries, validity of permits, and conformity of completed works.
- Report any violations to management and apply the prescribed sanctions.
🎯Your profile
- You have a higher education degree (Master's level) in building, engineering, or equivalent.
- You have proven experience in managing construction projects, ideally in an industrial or technical environment.
- You possess technical skills: building, HVAC, piping, CAD, electricity/instrumentation, etc.
- You are proficient in French and English (written and spoken).
- You master IT tools and project management software.
- You have excellent coordination skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- You have a strong sense of responsibility, personal commitment, and demonstrate proactivity.
- You are pragmatic in problem-solving and able to act autonomously.
- You have excellent communication skills and know how to work in a team.
