Assistant or Associate Psychologist for the Les Roseaux Care Unit (PGE)
We are looking for an assistant psychologist in the final stage of training or an associate psychologist with an activity rate between 80% and 100%, to join the Les Roseaux care program within the General Psychiatry Service of the Department of Psychiatry for a fixed-term contract from 01.05.2026 to 31.10.2026.
Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, CHUV plays a leading role in medical care, medical research, and education.
The General Psychiatry Service provides psychiatric care for the adult population (18 to 65 years) of the Lausanne metropolitan area. Organized into specialized sections, it has 95 acute care beds on the Cery site and outpatient consultations in the city center, to best meet the needs of users and partners in the care network.
The Les Roseaux hospital unit offers a specialized care program aimed at enabling hospital discharge for patients who cannot leave due to the intensity and complexity of their mental health difficulties and their consequences. While continuing the acute psychiatric care they need, we support these patients in accessing a living environment, attempting to co-create personalized and respectful housing solutions with them.
Autonomy, social rehabilitation, disease management, and network work are at the heart of this very special clinic aimed at returning to the community and adapted living environments.
Mission
- You take care of the unit's patients, in collaboration with the team and the outpatient network
- You participate in the coordination, organization, and conduct of network interviews, assessments, and visits to housing structures
- You participate in the coordination and supervision of the care team
- You work within a multidisciplinary team.
Profile
- You hold a Master’s degree in psychology
- You have obtained your OFSP specialization title in psychotherapy (Swiss equivalence required if foreign diploma) or are in training (one or two years from the OFSP title)
- You have experience in psychiatric diagnosis and crisis management in adult psychiatry
- You master French orally and in writing (level C1 for non-French speakers, certificate required.)
The salary scale is between 10 and 12, depending on the candidate's profile
We offer
Becoming a collaborator of the Lausanne University Hospital means benefiting from:
- Top social benefits, 20 days paternity leave and 4 months maternity leave (with the possibility of an additional month of breastfeeding leave)
- Regular salary progression adapted to responsibilities
- A 13th salary and 25 days of vacation per year
- A right to at least three days of training per year, with access to a varied offer within the CHUV Training Center and partner training centers of the State of Vaud
- Facilitated access to one of the 500 furnished apartments offered in the surrounding neighborhoods for people relocating to Switzerland from abroad
- Social, cultural, and economic benefits offered to members of the H-Oxygène association
- Benefits offered within the mobility plan (discounts on public transport subscriptions, promotion of "Mobility" vehicles, and discounts on the purchase of electric bikes)
- Quality company restaurants in each hospital building with preferential rates.
We offer a dynamic and engaging work environment within an expert and multidisciplinary team, in a university work context where you can develop your skills, consolidate expertise, and have opportunities to contribute to the advancement of care programs and their quality.
