About the job

- you analyze the usage of CH Media Publishing's digital platforms (18 brands on web, app, and e-paper) and generate insights into the behavior and interests of our users and subscribers
- you advise the editorial teams in planning and developing content and help establish a data-driven culture
- you are responsible for the operation and further development of reports and dashboards and ensure that users have access to the data that helps them in their (editorial) daily work
- you create complex analyses together with data scientists and engineers and work on the development of mature data products
- you formulate requirements for tracking our websites and apps to have the appropriate data available
You will succeed here if
- you have strong analytical skills combined with a good dose of curiosity and creativity to tackle new questions
- you enjoy translating various questions into hypotheses and analysis approaches and communicating the results to different target groups
- you have solid knowledge of SQL and practical experience in web analysis, data analysis and/or data science as well as in using BI tools (Tableau, Power BI). Additional knowledge in Python or R is an advantage
- you have a strong interest in the media industry and journalism and a good understanding of the behavior and needs of online users
- you have a degree from a university of applied sciences or university, e.g. in a social science, computer science, statistics or data science, or further training with a relevant focus
