Polyclinic, emergency, outpatient care, hospitalizations: from birth to old age, the Morges Hospital offers a wide range of care services. The facility has 240 acute care beds, a maternity ward with about 1,500 births per year, and nearly 30,000 emergency consultations. In total, more than 40 medical disciplines have been practiced within its walls for over 150 years. Surrounded by vineyards, with an incredible view of the mountains and the lake, Morges Hospital welcomes you in a warm and dynamic setting.
We are looking for the Morges Hospital a:
Community Care and Health Assistant - ASSC or Emergency Health Auxiliary (M/F) at 100%
Start date from June 15 or July 1, 2026.
Fixed-term contract of 4 to 6 months.

YOU HAVE
- A Federal VET Diploma as Community Care and Health Assistant (ASSC) or a recognized nursing assistant diploma by the Swiss Red Cross.
- Experience acquired in an acute care service, required.
- Reactivity and the ability to quickly adapt to changes in pace.
- Openness to exchanges and the desire to work interdisciplinarily.
- Rigor, adaptability, and flexibility.
- An open mind combined with natural curiosity and an interest in developing your knowledge.
- Extensive collaboration skills with the entire medical and nursing team.
- The desire to introduce and develop the ASSC role in emergencies.
YOUR OBJECTIVES
- Under supervision and in collaboration with the nursing team, care for adult patients with various pathologies, especially those related to aging, respecting your job description.
- Ensure patient comfort by making sure they are well positioned during prolonged waits.
- Be responsible for the proper maintenance of the service and its logistics (ordering and storing materials, cleaning boxes between patients, cleaning small paramedical equipment, etc.).
- Ensure continuity of quality care during peak activity periods in the emergency department.
- Support, inform, and answer questions from patients and their relatives within the limits of your role.
