The Waldheim Foundation offers people with intellectual, physical, and psychological disabilities a variety of residential and day-structure places in six residential homes. More than 340 employees are committed to the high quality of life of around 220 clients.
We are looking immediately or by arrangement for the Schönenbüel residential home in Teufen for a:
Care Specialist 80%
Your tasks:
- Accompanying, promoting, and caring for adults with autism spectrum disorder and behavioral challenges
- Participation in the development planning of residents
- Co-designing resident-centered settings
- Key worker duties
- Creating written documentation
- Collaboration with relatives and professionals
Your profile:
- Completed training, preferably in the field of people with disabilities, social pedagogy, curative/psychiatric nursing, or in the nursing sector
- Experience in caring for people with autism is an advantage
- Resilience in demanding situations
- Willingness to work irregular hours and weekend shifts
