The department, using cognitive and affective neurosciences, a true flagship of the Geneva site, also carries out academic and clinical research at a high level of quality.
Quality teaching is also provided by the department to students as well as to doctors in training for specialist certification by raising awareness of psychological, biological, and social dimensions. The department also supports quality training in psychotherapy.
The main mission of the Institutional Measures Service (SMI) is to manage institutional psychiatric measures in closed and open settings (article 59 of the penal code) and to exercise quality control over outpatient follow-ups (article 63 of the penal code). These are integrated multidisciplinary psychiatric-psychotherapeutic treatments ordered by the justice system for adult patients who have committed a criminal offense related to their mental disorder.
Job Description
The neuropsychologist is responsible for conducting neuropsychological and cognitive functioning assessments for all SMI patients, both in the open setting at the Belle-Idée site and in the closed setting within the Curabilis closed penitentiary institution.
Qualifications
You have a university degree in clinical psychology or equivalent and hold or are in the process of obtaining a federal specialist title in neuropsychology. Knowledge of adult psychopathology is desired.
You have 2 to 3 years of experience in neuropsychology with adult psychiatric patients.
The position requires good autonomy combined with the ability to quickly integrate into diverse units and adapt to a highly heterogeneous clinical population.
