Introduction

The city of Adliswil is a dynamic city with a high quality of life that has grown rapidly in recent years. With customer-friendly services, the administration is there for the approximately 20,000 residents. The Adliswil school trains about 2000 students with around 400 employees in five schools.

We are looking for a

School Social Worker 46%

for the secondary school starting from October 20, 2025. Since you will only work during the official school weeks, a workload of 46% spread over 3 working days corresponds to the school week. For the onboarding and handover, individual working days will be agreed upon in September 2025. From May 2026, a primary school could be taken over, and the workload could be increased to 79.6% or 5 working days per school week.

Your Tasks

The focus is on low-threshold counseling work in individual, group, and class settings, as well as supporting students, their parents, and teachers at secondary levels. In crises and conflicts, you will conduct interventions in classes and groups.

What We Expect from You

Have you been interested in school social work for some time? Do you have several years of professional experience working with children and counseling children and adolescents and are looking for new opportunities for design? Is a multicultural and open school with pressing issues such as gender, violence, racism, and bullying on your wish list? For this varied and interesting task, you bring a degree in social work at the university level and several years of professional experience in the social pedagogical field with children and adolescents. You have competencies in child protection, prevention, and crisis intervention. Ideally, you already have a CAS in school social work or a CAS in systemic counseling or are willing to complete these trainings.
