About the job
To strengthen our catechesis team, we are looking for a catechist (approx. 8-10 weekly lessons) for the parish of St. Nikolaus Reinach (BL) starting August 1, 2026, or by arrangement.
Your area of responsibility includes
- ecumenical religious education at the primary school
- participation in school house council meetings
- co-organization of parent evenings, maintenance of contacts with parents and teachers
- co-organization of ecumenical school services
- collaboration in the catechesis team
We expect from you
- a completed catechetical training (ForModula or equivalent training) or training as a catechist or theology studies
- teamwork skills, loyalty
- resilience, flexibility, and independence
- motivation and joy in dealing with children, parents, and teachers
- practical professional experience in a school context
- Catholic religious affiliation is preferred
