Correctional Services and Reintegration (JuWe) is part of the Directorate of Justice and the Interior of the Canton of Zurich (JI) and employs around 1,400 staff with diverse professional profiles. JuWe is responsible for criminal and measure enforcement, the implementation of various types of detention, and the successful social reintegration of offenders.

To strengthen our Controlling, Financial Planning & Reporting department, we are looking for an experienced and committed personality with high professional competence and a strong affinity for data and analytics, starting immediately or by arrangement.
Your tasks
- You actively help build controlling, support the budget and financial planning process, and transform data into meaningful reports, data models, dashboards, and decision-making bases
- You identify and realize automation and optimization potentials in processes and systems and contribute to the development of BI solutions and future-proof reporting architectures
- You actively shape the BI strategy and drive its further development and implementation
- You ensure high data quality, transparency, and reliability
- You analyze and interpret performance, financial results, and key figures and derive clear recommendations for action
- You take responsibility in exciting projects with cross-departmental impact
Your profile
- You have a degree in business administration, controlling, business informatics, computer science/IT engineering, or a comparable qualification
- You bring experience in business intelligence & analytics and have already contributed to the development and further advancement of data management solutions
- You have strong analytical skills and are confident in handling data, databases, and SQL
- You are very proficient in Excel and Power BI; experience with other analysis tools is a plus
- You communicate fluently in German and have very good spoken English skills
- You meet the requirements for an impeccable reputation (no entries in the criminal or debt enforcement register)
